June 7th 1958 an erotic, exotic musical genius was born, and his name was Prince Rogers Nelson. 50 yrs later we know him now as the man who broke all the rules in music, fashion and culture. Rivaling the greatest musicians of all time the Michaels, Jimi Hendrixes, Morris Days, James Browns , Carlos Santanas, and Curtis Mayfields muthaf#@kas! Prince vocal range has impressed and competed with many.
From the highs and lows of his sweet guitar to the depths of his baritone voice.

The wonderful hits we love, KISS, PURPLE RAIN, LITTLE RED CORVETTE, ADORE and the list goes on. Of course in my lifetime I hail him as one of the greatest beings on earth. Prince's style imposed a new wave culture that are influenced today. A sweet tribute to the man that inspires my soul, I give thanks to God for giving us this brilliant Icon! Kiss!

Working on such projects as Kanye & Big Sean's "Marvin & Chardonnay" as Editor. Featured in UK Vogue as Fashion Designer and so many spectacular attributes all under the age of 25. The list goes on Fashion designer, Editor, Creative Artist, Model, DJ, Musician. I think we have found the milleniums new Bionic Woman. My first glimpse/introduction to KESH was 5yrs ago and I've admired her since as one of my inspirations for life!

Is it all Make Believe?  Is it possible to truly have everything you ever dreamt as little girl with pigtails playing with Barbie limousines.  Closing your eyes, each year on the day birthday eve wishing to find a brand new pony in the backyard! Or is it the long life dream of having a drop dead gorgeous wedding, a knight & shining husband with adoring children.   Why can't you can't have it ALL, is it not possible to live your dreams. The children, the husband, the car, the house, the business life....Juggling it all, making it happen.  After reading "The Secret" and "The Power", Ive realized that present-day women are the Superwomen of today's businesses.  The act of putting effort towards all the things she ever wanted.  I was told by a good male friend, stating "Women are successful at business and personal life because they are great multi-taskers." AGREED, chuckles!

 Regardless if one makes the choice to go into marriage, have children or start a business...its the visualization of obtaining it and intertwining with passion. As a little girl we've been taught by Disney to visualize a perfect world with perfect outcomes, perfect people and perfect circumstances.  With age this notion has been casted that nothing will ever be perfect and to give up on those dreams, leaving some left content with failure. In life failure is natural state of being but those who are successful (by the standards of success) have embrace failure as a common process of growth. So, today as I begin a new chapter in my quest to live my own dreams as a businesswoman, I will realize that I can have it all with the simple ingredients of visualizing my future, living in the present and understanding my past. The recipe to success is all along in my childhood dreams.

KINDA LOVIN' MY NEW SHOES ...

 

Neutral being the New Black for 2011.. Obsessing over these shoes, I rushed out Saturday afternoon on a hunt to find perfection with my sister (Brianna) who was spending her Spring Break weekend in NYC. We went from store to store searching high & low, only to find the sizes were all wrong. Finally with a glimpse through a window, I ran in found the cutest pair of neutral platform pumps on earth!! LOVE THEM!!

Hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind embellished jackets; which are a must-Have for every fashionista's closet this Spring.  A flare of punk,vintage,rebel and biker all in one. After an informative tweet by my good friend, I quickly changed the channel to find a smokey gray based blazer accented with dangling beaded pearls and creme magnolias adorned by 106 & Park's Rosci Diaz. Awww, the joy of creativity always inspires me. The next ground-breaking artists I present to you:

    

  

Trendsetter and Socialite Dionne Richard, also known as "Blond Di" was born in Jamaica & raised in the historic City of Boston. Blond Di realized her passion for style at an early age. Influenced by her West Indian roots and ample experience in the New York City fashion industry.
